University of Saskatchewan Ballroom Dancing Club

We are a Volunteer-run, registered non-profit organization and are this area's largest, and oldest dance club. Our volunteer instructors have been teaching social dancing skills to all willing learners for over 50 years. The Club is committed to providing a safe and fun learning environment in all of our weekly classes, affordable memberships, and many social dance opportunities to our members.

Save the Date - Annual General Meeting — December 10, 2025

Join us on Tuesday, December 10, for our in-person Annual General Meeting at Trinity Orthodox Hall (20th Street), starting at 7:00 pm. This is your chance to stay informed, share your voice, and help guide the future of our club.

We’ve emailed a Notice of Motion—covering Membership Verification (Member Cards) and Executive positions—to all members. You can also find it on our website if you’d like to review it ahead of time.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there and appreciating your involvement in our community!

December Practice Sessions

Join us for open practice on December 2, 9, and 16 in the Lakeview Church lobby from 6:30–8:30 pm. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to dance, try new steps, and connect with others.
Cost: $5 at the door.

Registration opens Dec 1, 2025 and closes Jan 18.  Member $45, Non-member $55, Exec/Instr $30 

Email Special Dietary Requirements to Brenda at social@uofsbdc.ca giving the details of the needed meal requirements and the name of the person by Sunday, Janurary 18, 2026 midnight.

Bus to Ice Crystal Ball - If you are interested in riding to this event in a chartered bus, please contact Brenda at social@uofsbdc.ca by Friday, Jan 16. Chartering the bus and cost per person depends on the interest. We will need a minimum of 20 people in order to charter the bus. 

Term 2 registration will open in December 2025.
