2011–12 Week 17

Resume this Sunday February 26th, 2012

The Club is conducting a member satisfaction study starting this week. Please check your email for a message from Insightrix Research, a local market research company that is partnering with the Club, for a link to complete an online questionnaire. We value your input and this is your opportunity to let the Club know how we are doing in meeting your needs. In appreciation for your time, you will be entered into a draw for one pair of dinner-dance tickets to Dancero 2102. We ask that you still purchase your Dancero tickets in class, if you are planning on attending the dance. If you are the winner of the ticket draw, which will be made on March 15, 2012, you will be contacted by the Club and receive a refund for the face value of the ticket(s), to a maximum of two, that you previously purchased.

The last Club dance of the season is Dancero, held at TCU Place on March 24th, 2012. Doors open at 6pm, dinner at 7pm, dancing from 8:30-1:00am. Dine, dance and watch our very own Dance Team and Instructor Group perform routines. Music by Elite DJ’s Ltd.

In class ticket sales start this week, Sunday February 26, 2012, and end on Thursday March 8, 2012. Member dinner/dance ticket $45, dance only $25. Non member dinne/dancer ticket $65, dance only $40. Member priced tickets are only available in-class. Tickets will be available for pickup in class March 11th, to March 22. Only non-member tickets, at the non-member price, with seating in the non-reserved section will be available for sale online through Picatic, www.Picatic.com/ticket/event59708, March 4 to March 13, 2012.

Take your time when you indicate where you would like to sit, we will request that you honor this choice on the night of the dance.

Come and have fun, meet other beginner members and try out your new dance moves! Our Term 2 Beginner dance will be held on Saturday March 3rd, 2012, from 7:00-10:00pm, St. Joseph’s Hall, 1006 Broadway Avenue (corner of 8th and Broadway beside the Church). This dance is only for dancers registered in a beginner’s class. This is an actual dance; no instruction is offered however several instructors are usually in attendance to get you started and help you out (and you can dance with them). This is a great opportunity to get the feel of what it’s like to be on the dance floor. Tickets are available at the door at a cost of $5.00 per person PLUS you must present your member card in order to be admitted. Dress is casual.
