2012–13 Week 7

TERM 1 MEMBER CLUB WORKSHOP

Thank-you to Club Instructors, your GMALs and Club volunteers for assisting with the workshop. We hope members who attended the Tango workshop held this weekend enjoyed themselves.

If you did not get a chance to fill out a feedback form at the workshop, please considering filling one out today in your class. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Member dinner tickets are $50, member dance only tickets are $30, non-member dinner tickets are $70 and non-member dance only tickets are $45. Please double check your reservation choice prior to handing in your Mistletoes dance order form and honor your seating request on the evening of the dance.

Holders of dance-only tickets will be assigned to unreserved dance only seating.

MEMBER SURVEY

The results of the Club member survey by Insightrix Research Inc. are available. Please email ballroom.dance@usask.ca or call 652-2575 if you wish to receive an electronic copy.

PRESIDENT and SOCIAL COORDINATOR REQUIRED

All members, including newer members, are invited to run for any position on the Executive. Please consider allowing your name to stand for one of the above two positions. Brief details on the duties of each Executive member are available on our Club website. For additional information please contact the Club and the appropriate Executive member will return your inquiry.

CLEAN FOOTWEAR

Due to the nature of dance and the need for appropriate footwear, we ask our members wear shoes in class that you would wear to any of our dances. This allows members to become accustomed to dancing in shoes other than their street shoes. Please make sure that your shoes are clean and dry, particularly as we move into winter. This will ensure a clean floor for everyone to dance on. Thank you for your assistance.
