February 2 and 3, Holliston School, 1511 Louise Ave. Workshop sessions will be taught by our Principal Instructor Michael Milette. Club instructors will be in attendance to assist. There is a fee of $5.00 for each workshop attended. As this workshop is for Club members only, you must present your member card to attend. You may not transfer your membership to allow another person to take your place at the workshop.

Saturday and Sunday sessions are the same, but the times and sequences of levels differ. Members are expected to dance at the level of the session they attend.

Nancy’s Dancin’ will have new ballroom dance shoe stock for sale in the multipurpose room in Holliston School.

New volunteers are required to assist with Club events and functions. Our Club is able to run due to the efforts of all of our volunteers. Volunteers also assist in keeping your membership and event fees low.

Benefits to volunteering include self-satisfaction, socializing with other Club members; and if the minimum volunteer time is reached, an invitation to our spring volunteer appreciation event and an opportunity to register for a class in advance of the general public in the fall.

The Club’s volunteer benefits policy is available online and at your class location. Volunteer sign-up sheets are available in class or you can email our Club Volunteer Coordinator at usbdcvolunteers@gmail.com.

Advanced MEMBERS Only

A recruitment workshop will be held at ACC, 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10th, 2013. Advanced students with an interest in teaching are encouraged to consider trying out. Information letters and application forms are available on the Club website, under the class and tickets and forms tabs.

Please email your application to the Club at ballroom.dance@usask.ca as soon as possible, but no later than February 7th, 2013, so that we may plan for the expected numbers.
