Announcements for Week 12

Welcome to Term Two All Levels

We wish everyone a Happy New Year and welcome you back for term two of our ballroom dance classes. Classes run until March 26th, 2020 and there will be no classes reading week break Sunday, February 16th, 2020Thursday, February 20th, 2020.

Term Two Registration All Levels

Online registration is open until Friday, January 10th, 2020.

For full registration details see our post on our website. There are classes available to parachute into, if you are interested in doing this, please see a member of the executive or contact the club.

Dance Team All Levels

The members dance performance team will be learning and performing a Medley routine at our Dancero formal dance in March. Intermediate and Advanced dancers are welcome to try out for this performance taught by Bernadette and Gee. Classes are Wednesdays at Trinity Orthodox Hall from 8:15pm until 9:45pm starting Wednesday, January 15th, 2020.

Registration will take place before the first two classes of the term from 7:45pm until 8:15pm. Cost is $125, and includes a dinner dance registration to Dancero.

January Monthly Dance All Levels

Our social dance for January will be held on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 at Trinity Orthodox Hall. Please remember clean dancing shoes and your member card.

Ice Crystal Ball and Return Bus Trip All Levels

Ice Crystal Ball will be held Saturday, January 25th, 2020 at Danceland in Manitou Beach, SK. Registration for our out-of-town dinner and dance will be available online starting Sunday, November 24th, 2019 and will be available until Monday, January 20th, 2020.

In person registration will be available for drop off at Mistletoes, our General Meeting and the first two weeks of classes in the New Year.

Practice Session

Practice sessions are held Thursdays at Grosvenor Park United Church from 7:45pm till 8:45pm every week in Term Two.

Missing Classes

There is nothing to worry about if you have to miss a class. Attending the next weeks class for your session is the best way to catch up on what you missed.

Keep Personal Effects on You

Please bring your shoes and personal effects in with you and not left unattended in waiting areas. This is for security of your personal belongings.

Clean Shoes

Please make sure that you have a clean, dry pair of non-marking shoes to use in classes and at our events and dances.

Member Cards

Your membership card is the easiest way to register for check in to club events. Make sure to have it on you or have a picture of it on your phone.

Confirmation Emails

When you register for our events; the confirmation e-mail sent out is your guarantee that a registration went through. Make sure to contact the club if you do not receive an e-mail for a class or formal dance you registered for.

Class Transfers

If you are finding the time of your class or level of your class is not working out, you are able to put in a transfer request. Class transfer requests are subject to both executive and instructor approval and there are no refunds for transferring to a lower level class. More information at:
