Dance Team All Levels
The members dance performance team will be learning and performing a Medley routine at our Dancero formal dance in March. Intermediate and Advanced dancers are welcome to try out for this performance taught by Bernadette and Gee. Classes are Wednesdays at Trinity Orthodox Hall from 8:15pm until 9:45pm starting Wednesday, January 15th, 2020.
Registration will take place before the first two classes of the term from 7:45pm until 8:15pm. Cost is $125, and includes a dinner dance registration to Dancero.
Ice Crystal Ball and Return Bus Trip All Levels
Ice Crystal Ball will be held Saturday, January 25th, 2020 at Danceland in Manitou Beach, SK. Registration for our out-of-town dinner and dance will be available online starting Sunday, November 24th, 2019 and will be available until Monday, January 20th, 2020.
In person registration will be available for drop off at Mistletoes, our General Meeting and the first two weeks of classes in the New Year.
The bus is $35. This return-trip bus ride will leave from Q lot on campus at 4:30pm to travel to the Ice Crystal Ball event in Manitou Beach, SK on January 25th, 2020. The bus will then depart from Danceland at midnight. Return trip bus tickets are non-refundable.
Bus tickets must be purchased in advance and your name will be checked as you board. Alcohol and smoking are prohibited. The bus is a fully equipped comfortable tour bus.
You may park your cars in Q lot, across from the College of Veterinary Medicine. This is a staff/faculty lot that is free to the public on weekends. Plug-ins are available. Please be sure to obey parking signs regarding reserved spots, and spots for handicapped and service vehicles, which will still be in effect.

Executive Change Over All Levels
The new executive would like to thank the outgoing execute for their time and dedication. And introducing the new executive members. They join the returning executive members Director of Marketing Tara L, Financial Officer Kristina J, General Member at Large Lorraine P, General Member at Large Evan S, Music Coordinator Bernadette C, Volunteer Coordinator Diane E, Decorations Coordinator Ashley P, and Executive Assistant Bridget K.
The term workshop taught by our principal instructor Michael M. is on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at German Concordia.
Cost is $5 per session. Cash only. Members Only. Please arrive 20 minutes early to register with your member card.

Our social dance for February, formally Winter Warm-Up will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at German Concordia Club. Please remember clean dancing shoes and your member card.

Practice sessions are held Thursdays at Grosvenor Park United Church from 7:45pm till 8:45pm every week in Term Two.

There is nothing to worry about if you have to miss a class. Attending the next weeks class for your session is the best way to catch up on what you missed.
Keep Personal Effects on You
Please bring your shoes and personal effects in with you and not left unattended in waiting areas. This is for security of your personal belongings.
Please make sure that you have a clean, dry pair of non-marking shoes to use in classes and at our events and dances.
- Remove dirty outdoor shoes before entering the dance floor.
- Avoid putting dirty shoes on chairs or other furniture.
- Scrape dust from dance shoes into garbage bins; and never on the dance floors.
Your membership card is the easiest way to register for check in to club events. Make sure to have it on you or have a picture of it on your phone.
When you register for our events; the confirmation e-mail sent out is your guarantee that a registration went through. Make sure to contact the club if you do not receive an e-mail for a class or formal dance you registered for.
If you are finding the time of your class or level of your class is not working out, you are able to put in a transfer request. Class transfer requests are subject to both executive and instructor approval and there are no refunds for transferring to a lower level class. More information at: https://uofsbdc.link/class-transfer
