The same amount of material is taught at all levels. What is taught changes. Dancers will benefit equally from taking any level of instruction and, as each level builds upon the one before it, will usually improve their dancing more by enrolling at the lower levels.
Advanced class caters to dancers who have been dancing for a while, and can perform all dances and figures taught at the Intermediate level with solid technique and timing. Advanced level introduces Viennese Waltz, and Quickstep. Classes are 90 minutes in length. It is not uncommon for dancers to vary between taking Advanced and Intermediate or Intermediate Plus classes as their schedule allows.
This class is intended for those who have completed at least two full years (Odd and Even) of Intermediate. The Advanced curriculum is offered on a 4 year rotation with nine different dances being taught over one year.
